Help
us welcome our second Olympic Class vessel, M/V Samish to the Washington
State Ferries fleet. This ferry will carry 144 vehicles and will go into
service on the Anacortes/San Juan Islands route in June.

This
event is free of charge, open to the public and is ADA accessible.
Getting to the event
The event will be held aboard the
M/V Samish at the Anacortes ferry terminal. Visitors coming
from the mainland may drive and park in the upper lot of the Anacortes
terminal. Visitors coming from the islands are encouraged to walk-on rather
than bringing a vehicle. Passengers arriving via ferry will be issued
tickets for free walk-on return passage, valid for same day travel.
Extra Stops
The 11:05 a.m. departure from Friday Harbor will make an extra stop at Lopez to load foot traffic only.
The 3:40 p.m. departure from Anacortes will make an extra stop at Lopez to unload foot traffic.
Parking
Parking in
the Anacortes terminal upper parking lot is free for this event. As you approach the ferry terminal, stay to
the left to avoid the line for the tollbooths and follow the signs for event
parking. Shuttle service will run continuously between the upper parking lot and the terminal building from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
